A sci-fi film made with generative AI. People have a chip and can live inside their memories. If you can make memories better than reality, why live in reality?
Brief
The original concept ran 6 to 7 minutes. It grew to 33 during production because the tools let us go further than expected. The script is by Ondřej Hubálek and Dominik Drapák; I directed the film and led the whole generative pipeline.
Process
A reversed flow: idea, generate, let the story evolve around what works. Characters were locked as named references in Freepik Spaces with Nano Banana Pro. Storyboards came out as 3x3 grids from a single prompt. A Prompt Bible kept one look: 4K, shot on Alexa, Cook anamorphic lenses, film grain. In post we pushed AI shots toward film: motion blur, grain, chromatic aberration, anamorphic stretch. Two or three hybrid scenes were shot on an iPhone, then face and voice swapped.
Stack
Freepik Spaces (90% of images), Google Nano Banana Pro, Kling 2.6 and 2.6 Control, Google Veo, Higgsfield Cinema Studio, Suno Studio v5 Pro (fully AI score), ElevenLabs, Sync.so, Adobe Podcast AI, Logic Pro, iZotope Ozone, DaVinci Resolve.
Result
Premiered 15 January 2026 at Cinema Anděl in Prague to around 210 guests. The Czech AI Association called it the largest Czech AI film. Covered by Forbes, CzechCrunch and the Czech AI Association, plus Praha TV and Czech Radio live from Karlovy Vary. According to CzechCrunch the investment returned twentyfold through the commercial work it brought in.
